What is what in gROW

This chapter explains the main terms used in this platform. Further on we explain in more detail how you can use the platform for your development.

Course
This is a learning path and can consist of various components such as: online learning modules, training or workshop (event), articles, videos and course material. If you want to view the content of the components of a course, you will always have to click on 'register'.

Register
With a click on the 'register' button, you get access to all information from the learning path. IMPORTANT: this does not mean that you have actually registered for a meeting (event: see below).

Event
A physical or online meeting for which you can register. For example, a workshop or a 1 on 1 conversation. To register, click on register.

Part
An article, event, video, online learning module, as part of a course.

Article
Part of a course or to be viewed separately in 'learning'. An article contains, for example, text, photos, videos and can contain links to other websites.

E-learning module
Part of a course or can be viewed separately in 'Learning'.

Material
Document, or link to document or a video. Only found in a course. Often for your information, nice to read or a program for an event or the like.

Saved
Under the 'Learning' tab on the gROW dashboard, you will find the items you saved in the left column under 'Saved'. The available channels are also listed here. You can subscribe to these channels so that you receive a notification when a new item is added to a channel.

Channel
A channel is a collection of learning components around a certain theme. Under the "Learn" tab, you'll see the channels on the left side of your screen. You can subscribe to a channel. You will receive a notification in your notifications (bell in the top right corner of your screen) when a new item has been added to the channel. In the dashboard, you can see the channels you are subscribed to.
